1. The fluorescent lamp

The most suitable for novice plant growth lamp;

relatively cheap;

small power consumption;

small heat energy;

suitable for cultivating seedlings;

But it is not suitable for plants that like bright light, such as peppers;

2. High pressure sodium lamp (HPS)

Light intensity is high and cheap;

It generates a lot of heat;

It is usually used to grow fruit and vegetable crops;

3. Halogen lamp (MH) and Ceramic halogen lamp (CMH)

High light intensity supplement light, also can be used as fruit and vegetable crops supplement light, blue light, is conducive to prevent the growth of plants.

Ceramic halogen lamps are more popular

4. Light emitting secondary tube (LED)

High efficiency, low power consumption, less heat production, LED white light promoting plant growth is low;

5. Other growth lights

Compared to traditional HPS, MH and fluorescent lamps, LED lamps are growing more rapidly and are also popular with growers.
