How to choose water pump in soilless culture?

Factors to consider in the selection of water pump:

1. Pump head

2. Flow rate of water pump

3. The size of the water inlet of the pump

Many systems only need a suitable pump to deliver water to a certain height!When the speed of the water flow is the same as the speed of the pump, the whole system will achieve the best results.

So how best to do that?

• For the same pump, when the distance between the pump and the outlet is 1.2m, the water delivery speed is 2.3M³/H; When the distance reaches 3 meters, the water delivery speed is 0.7M³/H;

• At the same time, the number of drip heads also affects the speed of water flow. If drop head many, had better choose the pump with slightly larger power.

Note ⚠️ : The valve can be used to reduce the flow rate, but not to increase it.
