There are three kinds of mint planting methods: rhizome planting, fractional planting and cutting propagation.

[Temperature]

Peppermint has strong adaptability to temperature, and its rhizome persists over winter, and can withstand low temperature of -15℃. The optimum temperature for its growth is 25℃-30℃. The growth was slow when the temperature was lower than 15℃, and accelerated when the temperature was higher than 20℃. At 20℃-30℃, as long as the water and fertilizer is suitable, the higher the temperature, the faster the growth.

Peppermint is a long day crop, the sex likes sunshine. Long sunshine, can promote peppermint flowering, conducive to the formation of menthol. It is conducive to the accumulation of peppermint oil and menthol.

[Soil]

Peppermint soil requirements are not very strict, in addition to over-sand, over-sticky, PH overweight and low-lying soil with poor drainage, the general soil can be planted, sandy loam, alluvial soil is good. The optimum soil pH value is 6-7.5.
