The Dutch barrel is a system that uses a "barrel" to house an absorbent growing medium that larger plants such as grapevines can take root in. It provides an affordable, waterproof way to repeatedly deliver nutrients to this medium, and can be easily repositioned to achieve a desired arrangement.
Dutch barrels are suitable for growing larger crops and lianas, such as tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, eggplants, etc. You can also grow leafy greens, herbs, roots, and even large vines. It can be used for both aeroponics and hydroponics.
Note: Choose the Dutch bucket made of PP instead of PVC. The PP material has longer service life and better sunscreen protection. The weight of a single bucket can reach 425 grams.
