What is an exhibition greenhouse? -- Marina Bay, Singapore
Located in the heart of downtown Singapore, Gardens by the Bay is a landmark building in Singapore. The garden's iconic "Flower Dome" and "Cloud Forest" are currently the world's largest glass cold rooms, showcasing plants and flower varieties from the Mediterranean and tropical mountains.
The two greenhouses are built in front of the sea, with steel and glass as the main structure to maximize views and strengthen the connection between land and sea.
The building is designed with an all-glass lattice structure. The two cold rooms are mainly cooled by the cold water control under the floor, and by controlling the nighttime cooling, the plants are induced to bloom once every 3 months.
The exterior skin of the cold room adopts a composite structure and is optimized to ensure that the peak daylight illumination of the cold room is controlled at 45000LX.
An external shading system is also added to the glass skin, with an inductive control to cope with changes in the Angle of the sun.
